Spain: now is the time to buy for your Costa Blanca Holidays

When the package holiday was first initiated in Spain, COSTA BLANCA HOLIDAYS soon rose to the top of the list for the most popular tourist destination. Due to its past popularity, a lot of tourists are now choosing the Costa Blanca as a location for their retirement home. Some people are moving here to give their family a better lifestyle of to escape the bad economic times in the UK. While some people would say that with the present economic conditions that exist here today, you would have to be out of your mind to buy a property in Spain. There are a lot of repossessions not only in the UK but also in Spain so be careful when shopping around. If you are careful and have the time, there is a property out there that suits all your needs at an excellent price. Don't be cajoled into buying something for the sake of buying a place: remember that you are buying your future home.

When buying a property to lease out until you retire, don't bank on the property's income to pay the mortgage or community fees alone, including all of the utilities; you must be prepared to contribute money to pay all the bills. Some estate agents are not as truthful as they should be: they will tell you your holiday property can be let for 48 weeks of the year which just isn't true. The only way you will let your property for that many weeks in a year is by letting it on a long term bases at a reduced rate.
