Are their any trucking companies that pay your traveling expenses (Gas/Food) even when you own your own truck?
My horse is going to his first show in two weeks, he has been trailered before but usually not happily. It is crucial that he load on time this time. As we only have two hours to get him loaded up and drive twenty minutes away. When loading, he will put his front half in and that&s about it. WIth too much pressure we won&t even get close to it. Unfortunately I do not have a trailer to practice with, they will just have it the day of drop off. What I have been working on right now is, teaching him to walk past me and halt with basic forward and woah cues. I don&t see a whole lot of improvement. Any tips or methods you have used would be helpful. We have tried where you work them outside of the trailer and let him rest inside but he just will run circles for ever. For the day of, we will have our trainer on stand by but hopefully will not have to call him, and I plan on using Quitexx (horse downer).Once shut in the trailer he behaves fine, its just getting him in that is painful. We have two options for trailers right now, either a three horse slant, he will travel with two other horses. Or a stock, where he would either travel alone or with a mini horseIt is a step up, we have tried ramps with him and that was an absolutely heck no. He steps fine up and down into step ups, when he has loaded, and if we had to we&ve pushed it to an embankment where he can just walk in. butt ropes and rear pressure aren&t options, he will plant his feet and will not go in that day. And I know about chute loading, heard too many terrible things for people and horses in that attempt. The show isn&t for two weeks so I have been trying to do everything in my power until then. I&m trying to get the stock trailer the weekend before to do a little practice I just don&t want to push it before the day. He also is a food-motivated horse, usually grain helps a little, but only for so long. Do you think not feeding him the morning of the trailering day would help? Motivate him more maybe

Help trailering my horse?
My son (8) and I have recently become homeless because of a ended relationship. We live near Smithers BC, Canada. I don&t want to spend my time moping around feeling sorry for myself but am having a hard time keeping from feeling depressed. We are living in a little travel trailer that I am so thankful to have the opportunity to use. I was wondering if anyone had some good idea&s and/or advice to share. I don&t have anyone close by to talk to because everybody I know is experiencing their own difficulties. I need some good honest advice. Thank you for your consideration of my experience.

I am feeling a little down because I can&t find a place for my 8 year old son and me to live.?
Okay so Im 17 and its just me and my mom in the household and about 5 months ago my mom stopped doing her &odd jobs& which would be cleaning houses and she was getting about 300 dollars a month with that on top of 400 for her unemployment. She quit doing her jobs because the doctors diagnosed her with severe depression and advised that she not work until her meds start taking effect (4-6 months) and personally I believe that shes just using the excuse her doctor gave her to be lazy. Note that her jobs she had are the first jobs shes had over the last 12 years ever since her last job 12 years ago shes been collecting unemployment. We have always been a very low income family (obviously) living in travel trailers, the salvation army, with friends, etc. Now we have finally, by some miracle acquired a 2 bedroom apartment and the rent is being paid thru some sort of special program from the government where they pay the majority of our rent so we only pay 17 dollars a month (haha cant beat that) but she is in charge of all the bills (tv, phone, internet, electric) and the bills this month total almost 600 dollars, remember she only gets 400 for unemployment so now were in danger of losing out power and what not and all I can think about is weve finally got a stable living situation and were in danger of losing it. we wouldnt be in danger of losing it if she had a damn job. All my friends ever tell me is get a job when I complain about my mom not having one but thats wrong because they dont stop to think that the children are sposed to attend school and get good grade not have a job and worry about supporting theyre lazy ass mother. So id like to hear your opinions on my situation right now and what would you do if you were in my shoes?

Why wont my mom get a job?
In late july/early august i will be trailering my horse to virginia from connecticut and back for pony club. I fully understand the risks of trailer and those of an older horse such as mine(27 years old). Im not sure what to use for bedding shavings or straw? This is because of the dust and resperatory issues. I have heard to use shaving but then put a layer of straw over. he will be traveling with another horse they are both really quiet and are best friends. As for ventilation I have a 2 horse straight load with upper vents the 2 back doors, side windows, will this be enough air it always seems a bit hot. I can have my father put in roof windows being that he is a jack of all trades. Im going to use a tail wrap, shipping boots, and a head bumper. is there anything else i can do????

Trailering Advice?????????????
Later today my new horse is coming! He is 12 years old, and used to traveling around in trailers, ext and it was a "short" car ride. My question is how many days should I wait to start working with him (groundwork, ext)Hes used to moving homes and traveling so he won&t be totally stressed out and scared, but I was thinking later tomorrow I could start with a little bit of basic groundwork, not very hard or long. What do you think? And just build off of that? Thanks much :)You wait a day or so because they have to get used to there surrondings! Geesh! Let them register everything thats happening, let him meet my other horses, just give him a bit of time. To anyone who may care --Siskiyou is doing great! Hes been a dream! I took him out, walked along all the perimiters and fences. He was calm about the whole thing, munching on grass. I turned him out for a couple hours, then went out there and brushed and scrached him (he came trotting from the other end of the field to meet me). Then, I turned him into his little area and gave him some grain and hes been great! Anyways, thanks for all the help guys!

How long should I wait to start working with him...?
I just recieved a Harbor Freight generator with an 800/900 max watt capacity as a gift. I want to use it to power a 29 foot travel trailer (lights, microwave, tv, fridge, radio). I will be living in it so I want a way to give it power 24/7. I know this generater is not big enough to do that, but could I possibly charge 2-4 deep cell batteries to do the trick? I don&t know much about this, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot. I thought I would also add that the fridge is a mini fridge. It seems like there has to be a simpler way for me to make this work. I know that you can charge a bank of four batteries with solar, so why not a generator? My uncle charges 4 deep cell batteries with a small solar panel, and this gives him enough energy to power a 4 piece band for hours. Which I am assuming is a lot of energy with a PA system and everything. If anyone else has some ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks for the input so far.

What do you think these rotten thieves will do when they catch a glimpse of their stolen goods?
I&ll start off by telling my history. I was an only child to a single mother since the age of 2. I was painfully shy in my early years of school, but I made a decision to come out of my shell some in high school and even more in college. However, high school was horrible for me (as I&m sure many have experienced) because boys are inconsiderate and cheaters. I have always been too clingy and codependent and as a result, boys treated me badly. I had a long-time boyfriend cheat on me and I was oblivious...it was a TOTAL shock when I found out. Rumors were started about me in high school and all of my "good friends" turned on me, even though I didn&t do anything wrong. I took a bunch of aspirin in high school after my boyfriend told me he was going out dancing and I couldn&t go. I did it to make him feel sorry for me when it made me sick, but instead I ended up in ICU and had to go to a psychiatrist for attempted suicide. Believe it or not, that&s the guy I ended up marrying (I met him at age 17). Since we&ve been married, we have had 4 children and he has cheated on me two separate times with a total of at least 8 women. The first time was 11 years ago and I was on a business trip out of state when he wouldn&t answer my calls. I stayed up all night long calling until finally after calling his boss the next day, he called me and told me he was with someone else. He had already found an apartment and moved out shortly after, leaving me alone on acres of land in a trailer house in a tiny town far from home with my 3-yr old daughter. I graduated college, got a job, paid off all the bills, moved on with my life and as soon as I started dating, he began crying and begging me back. We worked things out and 3 kids later, he did it again. This time he had lost his job and then all of his life-long tools in a storage auction the very next day, and he lost his mind and up and left his family. He told me he was going for a drive and since I knew the stress that he was under, I asked him just to stay in touch and come home when he was ready. We didn&t hear from him for 3 days and finally found him using the cell phone records. He was staying with a woman he had cheated with while he was traveling for work. Come to find out, there were many more. This was a traumatic event for me and I lost the ability to function. Within two weeks, he was back at home and life was back to "normal." My kids are still affected by all of this instability. I have one child with extreme behavior issues who is seeing a counselor and a psychiatrist. Another child has anxiety like me. My youngest and only boy is in desperate need of a stable man in his life, which is evident by the way he clings to my oldest daughter&s guy-friends. My teenager was affected the most. She was the only one who has been through this with me every time. She had to take her father&s place when he left this last time a year ago because I just lost the ability to hold it together. She doesn&t like or respect her father at all and tells me that I should have left him. When he wears a certain outfit, which is what he was wearing when he came back home, she tells me that the rage rushes through her and she hates him. My teenager and I are extremely close. She tells me everything and I talk to her about every aspect of what she is going through. I read her text messages everyday and we talk about what she is going through with friends and boys. The problem is, lately I have been feeling very anxious because certain people and boys are not treating her like I think she should be treated. I keep telling her exactly what to say and do and when it doesn&t work, I get more and more anxious because I can&t control the situation. It doesn&t even bother her half as much as it bothers me because she&s a laid back person. I recently started telling her that she can&t be shy at all and it is coming across like I want to change her, which I really don&t. People like her and she is a fun person to be around, but she also likes to just hang out and be alone sometimes. I know I push her too hard to be social because of the problems I had. She&s at a party right now and I am going crazy wanting to know what is going on. My anxiety and need for control are out-of-control. I&m co-dependent on my child now. My marriage and finances are rocky. I lost my job because of all of this and I am just not myself. Without criticizing, can anyone please give me some advice as to how I can feel like myself again and quit living through my teenager? She is the last person in the world I would ever want to hurt, but I can&t seem to get control of myself. If I don&t know every detail about what is going on in her life, my anxiety goes through the roof. I need to back off of her and give her some privacy because she is a good girl and deserves it, but I just can&t seem to control mys

travel trailers for sale in SC?
I found 2 travel trailers for sale that I like. One is a 2004 with water damage to the floor that is being repaired by the dealer. The other is a 2001. The lay out is exactly the same on both. The price is 7995.00 for either one. What would you do and do you think the price is reasonable. I like the color scheme in the 2004 better than the 2001. But nervous about the floor being repaired. What else could be wrong? The dealer says everything else is fine. Just want some input.

wanting to buy used travel trailer?
A gentleman bought an older used camping trailer from me, I told him I had never had it on the road, or used it in anyway, I had only bought it for having it as a convience on my lot while building a new home so I had a place to rest and occassionally spend the night in to avoid so much travel time between the place I was staying while building, I had him sign a "AS IS" paper, now his WIFE is suing me stating the frig did not work when her husband bought it, she was not present at the time of sale. OK, this is an obscure Q, for sure--but we&re hoping someone can help. The RV/travel trailer sales industry is a lockstep monolithic throwback. Virtually every dealer charges a price within 5% of every other dealer. Surely, there has to be one or more maverick dealers who use the tried & true "invoice + %" sales technique...and offers a hassle free sales atmosphere. Call it "factory direct" or call it genuine wholesale--we can&t find it. So, we&re hoping someone feels like answering this question. Thanks in advance and good luck. The Roamers

I got engaged about a year ago and LOVE my fiance. I had surgery in may and found out it will be difficult for me to get pregnant if I decide I want to (I am 25 my fiance is 32) BUT I feel like I should be in a rush to have a baby and settle down. We rent a trailer and I hate this place, we have animals who are like our children though they destroy our place. I want to move but he is happy here I am antsy and want to travel but have no money. I want to do so much but haven&t even graduated. (I do have a diploma but no graduation.) so I work at a bookstore and I like my job ok i guess but I still hate my life and if I wasn&t so afraid of dying I would take a couple bottles of pills and be done with it. should I be talking to a doctor about depression?

why can&t I just be happy?
My husband and I are 21 years old and we are very happy even after three years of marriage and he says he cant imagine life without me. Hes so good to me and I am lucky. My husband is a brilliant man, makes lots of money through investments and property purchases and we own some trailers we rent that he got off his uncle. So we are much better off money wise than most people in our town. Well he suggests we start a small diner at the town entrance for travels (the road through here is heavy traveled in the mornings by working people and people out for sunday drives). We have the money to do it with but my husband wants us both to run it together as a couple. I am up for the idea because I love being with him but my friend said business arrangements involving couples can damn marriages. Is this true? What are the benefits and can it damage a marriage? I would hate anything to tear us apart because despite people saying a young teen marriage right out of high school would fail and we wouldn&t make it, we have done very much the opposite and I would hate for anything to tear us apart. So can I have some common people advice? I don&t want a lecture on getting married so young, as I pointed out we have been married three years and are beyond happy. Another matter is someone mentioned it might be too much togetherness. Me and my husband currently dont spend all our time together and we give each other space, respect, and privacy another reason we have stayed in love and survived.

I&m in the market for an RV/travel trailer (not a cab-over camper)....my limit is $10,000. I&ve been checking out Craigslist, Deals and Wheels, etc and there are a LOT! Recommendations from anyone that owns an RV/trailer?
Okay, my horse is 16hh2 and goes in an up to 16hh2 box. He wears a travel rug, but for the past three times he&s traveled he&s got a graze on the top of his bottom. I&ve loaded him and checked that the he doesnt hit his bum on they way in - but theres no way he really could cause its on the top of his bum, and the bar doesnt go high enough up to graze him. I&ve also checked to see if it was his rig and i&ve changed it incase but he still gets it. Any ideas what it could be?

I need to find the VIN number on a mid 70&s model Shasta trailer in order to get it tagged. The man I bought the trailer from could not locate the old registration and in order for Him to make out a notarized bill of sale We need the VIN number, which We have not been able to locate. The house I rent is for sale, my lease is month to month, I want to move out buy a travel trailer for full time living and traveling for both fun and work. Current rent is 1100, never late, and once i move that expense is obviously gone. What else? I have no current delinquencies or collections. They have all been paid off. Two of the collections where medical, if that matters. Transunion score from 2 weeks ago is 590, Equifax as of today is 639. Steady job over 6 years. Credit somewhat blows because used to drink a lot (I quit over 2 1/2 years ago) and was slack on some bills (all paid now). It would NOT be an issue to pay 600-800 a month on a loan. Help with building a travel trailer?
I am disabled and suffer from unrelenting pain and fatigue. I finally got social security disability so I got a nice back pay check. I had a boyfriend that helped me to find a travel trailer to live in. I was too tired to go looking so I gave him $4,000 to pay for a particular trailer we saw on craigslist. He got a bill of sale from the previous owner and the title. Our plan was to live in it together so I thought it would be OK to put his name down as half owner on the pink slip. But unfortunately it did not work out so I took the trailer and moved to a new location. I also took the pink slip that both of us had signed. Obviously he was upset by this because he had been living off of me and my new money for some time now. He called the cops and accusing me of grand theft auto saying I stole the pink slip out of his truck and that his mother gave him the money to buy the trailer. I have proof I withdrew $4,000 from my bank account just prior to the purchase of the trailer (which is still not registered). So the cops are looking for me to arrest me. Obviously I am scared. I&ve never done anything wrong in my life. And yet he has a history as both a con man and a domestic abuse situation, both spending years in prison for. I&ve been taken by him and because of my disability I feel to weak to fight. Do I have any hope to get what is rightfully mine? Or can he lie his way into making the cops believe I stole my trailer? I was going to file a restraining order just prior to this on him but now I am afraid of getting arrested. What do I do? I am low income and always tired because of my disease?

My neighborhood used to be nice, but over the last 10-15 years it&s really gone downhill. There are so many vacant houses in my neighborhood, and my house is one of two on my block that isn&t up for sale. Crime has skyrocketed and on 4 different days last week there were at least 4 cop cars in the neighborhood, lights flashing and taking care of something. Car burglaries have risen dramatically and so have home burglaries. My aunt and uncle&s house was broken into on Monday and about $15,000 in electronics and jewelry was stolen, their son (my cousin)&s car was broken into, two of my OTHER cousin&s cars were broken into, and my travel trailer was broken into last week and the propane tank was stolen (we&ve got it in storage at the trailer dealership where we bought it). My neighbor scared a burglar off on Friday night with his motion light. I&m figuring it&s only a matter of time before MY house is broken into...My dad works nights at GM (he&s a mechanic) and doesn&t get home until 6 AM (he normally leaves at 6 PM), so at night it&s only my mom (53) and myself (17) at home. We have a dog that barks if anything comes near the house, but lately hasn&t been barking at anything, even strangers walking by (normally she would throw a fit). There&s a motion light on our garage (detached, behind the house) so if anyone comes by the back door it lights up. I am starting to fear for my mom&s safety because she is not in the best of health and if she needed to get out of the house quickly or fight someone she wouldn&t be able to. I have absolutely no problem shooting an intruder in my home. I feel that if anybody is in my house that isn&t supposed to be, that they are an immediate threat to the safety of my family and I have no problem taking out that threat. I know how to handle a gun properly and have damn good aim (I&ve won 3 local tournaments) and am not afraid to shoot an intruder. We own several guns (mostly for hunting, but also one that used to belong to my great grandmother--she worked for Joe Bonanno in Phoenix and after he threatened her she kept it on her for protection), all of which are locked in a secure gunsafe in the basement (and the ammunition is locked in a separate safe). If I wake up to hear my dog barking or by the motion light turning on, I look out the window carefully each time (barely peek out the curtains so I can see anything out there but if there&s something they can&t see me), and I can make it from my room into the room where the gunsafes are in about 10 seconds, get the shotgun out (it&s a 12 gauge), and have it loaded and ready to go in under a minute. Then if the need arises I have no problem shooting the intruder either to kill or disable. The problem is, I don&t know what the laws of this in Michigan are. I live in central Michigan and I don&t know if the law would protect me in the circumstance that I shoot an intruder and he is wounded/killed. What are the laws pertaining to this? Oh, and moving is not an option. My parents have worked at their same jobs for 30 years and we paid off our house in 2003. We&re not going to move. I&m going 500 miles away to college next year though...

I went and checked out the trailer today, and decided I wanna buy it from the owner (private party). He asked that I give a down payment if I am serious about buying. What is the best way to go about this? The trailer was parked out on a main street from the corner of his house. I would imagine he had it there for trying to get others to see it was for sale, he had a sign on it. I know he lived close by, because when I called to see it, he came from across the street in about 2-3 minutes. But I did not see his house. Hello! I am supposed to do a 6 month round the world trip starting in February. I need to get a new phone and was wondering if anyone had any advice for me? I got accepted into MS programs, but unfortunately there wasn&t enough funding for a TA position, so a Master&s degree is not an option without funding. The jobs that I am qualified for pay around $1400/month. My student loans payments easily take up more than half of this pay, if not more, and I cannot afford much after the student loans. For example, health insurance, car insurance, etc and don&t want to choose between necessities. (I live very frugally) Currently, I am examining whether to try and reapply for school in the following fall or look into the various armed forces? I would just like some outside input, before going to talk to recruiters, colleges, again. Option 1) Search for an entry level job and apply for graduate school in the fall of 2011. CONS: No guarantee that I would be able to get funded, again Student loans will be delayed 3 more years, adding interest Be around younger, immature college crowd for 3 more years. Many jobs in biology require a MS, so I will still be at "the bottom rung" when I get out. If I did get funding, I was told it is very little and most students take out loans for health care, etc. More debt. Option 2) AF/Navy/Coast guard. I am looking for a change in pace, purpose if you will. I don&t mind traveling, love meeting new people, etc. I am disciplined, enjoy structure, and thrive in a team setting, enjoy physical activity, don&t mind demanding hours, and can wake up at 5am :) I also don&t want to take things for granted, and think the military would help with that. It would be different experience than just getting a master&s, and I would have real-life experience I couldn&t get while in school. Also, the Navy pays for college loans if I go enlisted, although I am more interested in the right job as opposed to money. My friend and I were stranded in Kuala Lumpur in April 2010 due to the Volcanic Ash scenario. We were advised by our Airline (Air Asia) that they had not been cleared to fly as Stansted had told them they were not allowed to go. We were left on the other side of the world with no help from the insurance company whatsoever. We spent nearly £1,000.00 extra during the extra 8 days we had to spend in KL. We have had correspondence from MRL advising that they are declining our claim for curtailment/delay as the airline withdrew their services and therefore this is not covered under the policy. Ok so this might get a little long so if you take the time to read it and offer and tips or stories or anything at all I&d appreciate it a ton! So I am looking to do some traveling. I have had some friends recently do the same and by the looks of it they had the times of their lives, some still refuse to come home claiming they are in "paradise". For me I would like to possibly go to Australia for a little bit but what I really want is to eventually make my way to Thailand for a long stay because I hear it is so cheap there is you are smart about it. I have seen pictures of my friends of them living in little tiny hut looking places right on the beach for what they claim is $3 a night. How would I find a place like this. My basic question is how much money would I need to have saved up to spend a solid 3 or maybe more month in Thailand. Im thinking $5000- $6000 could possibly last but again, I really have no idea. I am prepared to live a not so luxury life there, if I have food and all the basics one needs with a beautiful surrounding I will be fine. I really just want to escape life here for a good amount of time and enjoy it. Another question is where about in Thailand is the best place to go, places that are beautiful yet safe. Is there much for hostels in Thailand ( although I would really like to experience living in one of these little bungalows or huts on the beach for a bit). As for Australia from my understanding it a lot more expensive so that is why I would just like to stop there for a few weeks and then just relax in different places in Thailand. My goal so far is going traveling with $5000-6000, but like I said I have no idea how long that could even last me. Hello, I have these three products that I&d like to consider buying either one:Nikon Coolpix P90 with 24x optical zoomPanasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 with 18x optical zoomSony Cybershot DSC-HX1 with 20x optical zoomI have these points in mind:- light-weight for travelling (Panasonic is the lightest)- affordable (Nikon is cheapest amongst three)- good quality image outcome and user-friendly since I&m not a professional - I have a child, and I want to use the camera to record her daily progress. So I need camera with speedy shutter-click and against shake and blurry images. I have tried using Nikon P90, but the image is not that great, even with the long zoom. The weight is suitable (around 460gr) but I&m disappointed with the result. I have checked many websites to compare results and I got mixed reviews. Personally I like Sony even though I haven&t hold the real product, but it&s kinda heavy (around 550gr), and separate memory stick meaning I have to buy exclusively Sony-used MS, and it&s only 9MP. I only have a budget of 500USD. Going to Europe for approx 8 months - what travel insurance should I get?
Playing Ultimate Frisbee I tried to reverse my direction on a diagonal run from right to left. I put my weight on my knee and it gave out, feeling a very distinct pop in the process. I had swelling over the area where the Vastus Lateralis (external quad muscle) meets the knee and the inability to bend my knee more than 45 degrees. I regained the normal use of my knee over a course of about 6 months, I only had x-rays done, and all superficial inspections done by doctors revealed no lateral or forward/backward unnatural movement on my knee. I have no instability when walking. It is only when I snapped my leg down trying to block a pass with my leg, that I had pain again (now that I went back to playing) and two days ago, on a very similar move to when I first injured myself, again I felt a pop and slight pain, but this time there was no swelling and I could walk just fine and could have even continued to play. I didn&t, and I&ve iced it since just in case, but other wise from feeling very slightly numbed (like when you hit any part of your body hard enough) there is no discomfort or instability. I know, I know... should have gotten an MRI, thing is, when I injured myself, I was working offshore and the injury was completely unrelated to what my travel insurance covered. And back home it was the same story. I would have to pay the MRI out of my own pocket, and here in Costa Rica, even though medical is extremely cheap to foreigners (USA), an MRI to me is almost half of a month&s salary, I just don&t have the money. I suspect my injury is a ACL tear. Though the part that still feels more affected is where the external quad meets the knee. I also suspect MCL thrown in the mix. I don&t think Meniscus, though normally the Meniscus is affected on an ACL injury. Even if I got my MRI, I&m not sure after letting so much time go by, that I would still be a good candidate for surgery. MRI + Surgery, out of my own pocket (cringes)... but then again, early arthritis, constant knee pain (cringes further).I&m the classic weekend warrior athlete. 42 years old and 40 pounds overweight. More than a year after a knee injury, is surgery still an option?
I have been looking at lots of different travel insurance websites are they are all about $150 or less. For my first time overseas to Singapore / Malaysia for 10 days, what travel insurance should i get? just the cheapest one possible starting at about $AUS60...or spend some more money and get everything covered at about $AUS150? Would you really use all those extra covers anyway? i am only interested in thief, lost, damage and delay in flights. Also is it cheaper to go for an independent travel company or go with personal health cover companies? If anyone has anything about travel insurance, that would be great!

Standard cost for Travel insurance?
Ok, a few short questions;I&m 19, will be 20 by the time - next year I&m travelling to CA, Valley Village for approx 2 months. I hold a British driving lisence, can I still drive in USA with that? Do you need driving insurance? Would it be better to just buy a cheap car out there, or to rent a car? Can I even rent a car!?Any answers greatly welcomed! Thanks v much!

Im still debating about my fourth year/last year in college. I found out that I could purchase a bus pass for only $95 for the YEAR. Or I can drive to college. Here are the pros and cons. Car (pros):-Get to school faster (in ~30-40 mins).-Freedom, can leave when you want-Can leave some of your belongingsCars (cons):-expensive, gas station every 10 days (~$40 each time to fill up empty gas tank)-Got to pay for parking permit per trimester (~$160 x 3 for the year)-Car maintenance: breaks, lights, insurance, and more.-Cannot use carpool lane since ill be driving alone, maybe stuck in traffic. Bus (pros):-cheap, only $95 for the year compared to the average monthly bus pass of $55.-economic method, can read, sleep, and study.-saves gas and $$$- bus come every 30mins to 60mins. Bus (cons):-travel time is long, about 2 hours each way-transfer point/center gotta wait for the next bus.-can get crowded, people talking.-still got to walk home once bus reaches bus stop-I might get tired from this bus travel. So which method is better to go to college?

Is it better to go to college with a car or with a bus?
I need some new bright ideas to save money. Here is a list of things I am already doing so any additions would be welcome:- I don&t own a car and walk/bus wherever I go (my work travel card allows me to get on busses for free)- I only buy supermarkets own brand stuff and never get take aways - I never go out drinking/cinema - I don& t buy any luxuries aka clothes, shoes, dvd&s etc - I take my own lunch to work - My TV is down to a minimum - I only have a phone because I need internet (i work from home sometimes and need it) but it&s the cheapest rate around - I buy a train tickets to go to work everyday - season tickets (i live too far to cycle or bus it) but try to walk as much in between switchovers to save money on tickets - I don&t have any credit cards or loans or insurances to payI am lost as to what else I could do to make my money stretch furtherany ideas are welcomejust to let you know, I am not entitled to any benefits! thanks in advance

I need braces, a filling on my front tooth, and I also need to get one of my lower wisdom teeth removed. I don&t have any health insurance and I&m 18 years old. Where could I go to get all this done for a fairly cheap price, within a reasonable amount of time, and have it done by a legitimate dentist. I live in New York city, and I&m willing to travel anywhere. I&m willing to spend $2,000-$4,000 for everything.

I am 20 years old i have a wife and a brand new daughter. I am finishing up with my bachelors degree and then i&m applying to med school. ( i will be either a crna or an anesthesiologist) I am going to use the HPSP military grant to pay for school, and i&m therefore obligated to work for the army after wards. My wife and I will be traveling to Cabo San Lucas soon and I am looking for any travel advice you can provide. However, I am specifically interested in the following:-What is the best way to get from the airport in San Jose los Cabos to our resort (it doesn&t offer free transfers)--What are some of the best local providers of excursions like whale watching, scuba diving, jet skis, etc...--Are there any historical sites nearby that we don&t want to miss--What restaurants, clubs, and shopping is the best--ANY other useful pieces of info would be greatly appreciated!
