What do British people think of USA (New York, Washington (DC), and Boston)?
When i graduate id like to tour around europe especially in france and amsterdam, but mainly all through europe. can you give me some tips and information? I dont think my friends want to go, is it safe there? are there cheap places to stay in, i heard there called hostels but im not sure exactly what those are. Thank you!
traveling around europe?
How can i travel around cheaper in gold coast for 5 Person (adults ). Rent a car or by bus?
Ok so this might get a little long so if you take the time to read it and offer and tips or stories or anything at all I&d appreciate it a ton! So I am looking to do some traveling. I have had some friends recently do the same and by the looks of it they had the times of their lives, some still refuse to come home claiming they are in "paradise". For me I would like to possibly go to Australia for a little bit but what I really want is to eventually make my way to Thailand for a long stay because I hear it is so cheap there is you are smart about it. I have seen pictures of my friends of them living in little tiny hut looking places right on the beach for what they claim is $3 a night. How would I find a place like this. My basic question is how much money would I need to have saved up to spend a solid 3 or maybe more month in Thailand. Im thinking $5000- $6000 could possibly last but again, I really have no idea. I am prepared to live a not so luxury life there, if I have food and all the basics one needs with a beautiful surrounding I will be fine. I really just want to escape life here for a good amount of time and enjoy it. Another question is where about in Thailand is the best place to go, places that are beautiful yet safe. Is there much for hostels in Thailand ( although I would really like to experience living in one of these little bungalows or huts on the beach for a bit). As for Australia from my understanding it a lot more expensive so that is why I would just like to stop there for a few weeks and then just relax in different places in Thailand. My goal so far is going traveling with $5000-6000, but like I said I have no idea how long that could even last me. Please if anyone has tips for me, or stories on their traveling experiences and costs and places etc. I would appreciate it soo much, let me know if some of my ideas seem stupid or anything. I am looking to leave in the next 5-6 months hopefully and like I said, I would like to spend atleast 2 -3 months if not more. Also another thing, would it be worth getting a working visa or w. e you call them incase I&d like to work a little either in Australia or Thailand to make some extra money if I needed to. Again fill me up with any and all kinds of information!! thank you!
Looking to do some back pack traveling, need tips?
Hello, I have these three products that I&d like to consider buying either one:Nikon Coolpix P90 with 24x optical zoomPanasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 with 18x optical zoomSony Cybershot DSC-HX1 with 20x optical zoomI have these points in mind:- light-weight for travelling (Panasonic is the lightest)- affordable (Nikon is cheapest amongst three)- good quality image outcome and user-friendly since I&m not a professional - I have a child, and I want to use the camera to record her daily progress. So I need camera with speedy shutter-click and against shake and blurry images. I have tried using Nikon P90, but the image is not that great, even with the long zoom. The weight is suitable (around 460gr) but I&m disappointed with the result. I have checked many websites to compare results and I got mixed reviews. Personally I like Sony even though I haven&t hold the real product, but it&s kinda heavy (around 550gr), and separate memory stick meaning I have to buy exclusively Sony-used MS, and it&s only 9MP. I only have a budget of 500USD. Is there anyone who could help me give suggestions or if you have other brand (I consider Canon too) or camera type that I should take a look, I&d really appreciate it. many thanks!
Please advise on semi-DSLR camera: Panasonic, Nikon/ Sony?
Hi all, My fiance & I have recently decided to help close the gap between indigenous & non indigenous health & education. Our focus is indigenous children. We have tracked down a number of hostels & residence for Indigenous Children who are living in care and have just this weekend organised our first lot of gifts for a group of children that will never go home to their families. Our gifts consisted of school supplies, toiletries, sporting equip, nicnaks & clothing....We have also tracked down a Womens Maternal Centre that provide accommodation for upto 12 families (soon to be 32) who need to travel from Remote parts of Northern QLD to have their babies in the cities hospital. We thought it would be nice to organise some gift baskets for these new & expecting mums. SO... We are trying to track down some warehouses or wholesalers that may sell basic clothes, toiletries, nappies, dummies etc that we could do up a new born gift basket. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.....from what to put in these baskets, to where to find good quality with a cheap price tag. PLEASE HELP US!! Thanks!! :-)Please follow us on Facebook -~YOUNG & FREE~ Making a positive change in indigenous childrens lives!
PLEASE HELP! INDIGENOUS CHILDRENS CHARITY & GIFTS FOR NEW & EXPECTING MUMS!!!!?
I&ve wanted to go to New Mexico now for awhile and am looking towards the Santa Fe area... will be traveling with my parents and my two toddlers (almost 3 and 4). Really wanting a feel for &New Mexico& and the history so any ideas on what to do while there? (My kids are REALLY into Cowboys and anything western.) Places to stay? Cool places to shop? Planning on going in the Fall and am not familiar with the state&s weather either so ANY info would be greatly appreciated! :)Additional Info: Trying to figure out if it&s cheaper to fly or drive... might just rent an excursion or something and drive ALL of us together (from WA State) so any ideas on what vehicle is good for a road trip and 3 adults + 2 kids would be helpful too. Never done this!
Planning a vacation to New Mexico, any ideas or guidance?
I&m traveling to the dominican republic and I need help with a bunch of things1. what is the BEST spanish english dictionary available? I speak spanish sort of but my family knows nothing beyond hola and adios, and we&re all going to need help, specifically with vocab. the grammar is pretty straightforward so I don&t need that much detail on it. maybe there is one more geared towards Dominican slang and terms2. I need fun shit to do. obviously I&ll be sailing, surfing, and the like, but is there any stuff to do that I wouldn&t know about?3. What are the best restaurants, clubs, and bars? Both my sister and I are of drinking age in the Dominican so good bars are important.4. Any information about Dominican women? I know how to pick up women, but any helpful tips about what to look out for or random facts about them would be nice to know. 5. How do I get drugs there? I&ll pretty much only be looking for weed, but I need to know the right way to ask/ not get caught. also, how much does it cost, I&ve heard it cheap. 6. How safe is it? I&m sure we won&t want to stick together as a family the entire time, and any tips about keeping stuff safe/ what not to do would be greatly welcomed. 7. any random customs? I read somewhere that you aren&t supposed to shower after you eat or open the fridge when you&re sweating. I feel like that&s not true, but any light shed on that subject would probably help a lotANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.. SERIOUSLY ANYTHING YOU KNOWmuch love
