After midnight on July 30, 1916, a series of small fires were found on a pier in Jersey City, New Jersey. Sabotage was suspected and some guards fled, fearing an explosion; others attempted to fight the fires. Eventually they called the Jersey City Fire Department. Now my friend here is a qantas enginer..he is responsible for every use by date and wear and tear of every conciviable part of the plane... I put foward to him why does the aircraft industry, not just build a saftey capsule that can float and is self sufficent on pressured oxygen and can act like a bouncing ball as to not get lodged or break up on landing or atmospheric turbulance such as, hurricanes and lighting and hail.. with a parachute device that can be deployed for a guided landing. Im starting my A-levels in september but i think there&s a lot of planning need to be done so im starting now. I want to expierence other countries cultures before i go to uni, i was going to do 1 year but i thought 2 years would be much better. So my question is really just asking for advice, and which places are good to visit. Also the plan is to do packpacking but ive never done it before so what does it really involve, do i just go to different lodges every night. I live in the UK btw.

Hello! If all goes well, I will be spending Fall 2011 at Salford University in the UK. I&m interested in doing some European traveling. I will probably be staying near the UK for finance reasonings. Anyway, I am wondering what spots are recommended for travel? Currently considering Ireland (should this be Dublin?), Scotland, and France (Paris?), but also wondering if the Wales has a lot to offer? Also, I&m sure I&ll do a day in London along the way. Obviously, this is going to vary so so so much, but if I flew to these locations (because I&ve heard this is the cheapest route of travel), stayed in hostels or cheap lodging, and visited the necessities, how much should I budget for this?
