What can I do today in Richmond Hill, ON, Canada?
Sorry it&s a bit long etc but if you stick with it thanks XD also I know the school im going to etc the whole trip is organised by the two schools and we have to write these letters so that they can match us up/ to give our matchees some info about us. thanks xx oh and i left out some of the beginning information on here, you know, pedophiles, stalkers etc lol thanks again My name is Isobel Cecil, my friends call me Issy. I live ____________I live with my parents Alison and Martin. My Mum is a teacher at_____________, she teaches Maths and Psychology. My Dad is________________ I have two sisters; Emily who is 22, and Lucy who is 20. They are both currently at University but they come home most weekends. I also have a cat, Molly although I’ve always wanted a dog as well. I have lived in quite a few places in my life; I was born in the south of England, and then when I was 16 months old my family moved to Copenhagen, Denmark. We lived there for 15 months before moving to Vietnam. When I was 5 we moved to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, where I attended Mont Kiara International School, which was based on the American System of education. When I was 10 and a half we moved back to England. First to Northamptonshire then in 2006 we moved to here to Derbyshire. I am about to move house again, but only to the other side of my village. I work as a waitress at Frankie and Benny’s which is a restaurant about ____________________away from my house. I enjoy my job as the people I work with have become good friends of mine. I also babysit occasionally for families in my village. For my GCSE’s I chose to do History, Double Art and Food Technology, as well as the compulsory subjects. Next year I am continuing at QEGS, doing AS levels. I have chosen to do Literature, History, R. S. and Biology. Next year I am also starting to study Latin, in hope that it will help get me in to a top University to Study Ancient History or something similar. I joined Q. E.G. S. in year 8 (grade 7) and found it very welcoming, I have made many amazing friends. In our free time we like to go shopping, we also enjoy just spending time in the park or going to each other’s houses to watch films or hang out, Charlotte Bailey who is also going on the exchange is a great friend of mine. I wouldn’t say I was a particularly sporty person but I do enjoy doing sports such as badminton, swimming, trampolining and cycling, especially when I do this with friends. I enjoy cooking very much, and I love to bake especially. I absolutely love music and listen to a wide variety of genres. I also love films. My main passion is culture and travel, I hope to, when I’m older, travel to many more places in the world. I have only been to America once before; in April of this year, on a school trip to New York. Overall I think I am a very sociable person, who loves to spend time with people and have a laugh with my friends, I think the fact that I have moved around a lot and been to many schools has made me confident in meeting new people and adaptable to new places. thank you again =]=]
Is my American exchange letter okay?
I was thinking about studying in cultural anthropology. I really love learning about other cultures and want to travel the world. I am decent in math but my real passion is literature. I want to have an exciting job thats not desk work. Will anthropology be the ideal job for me?
Is anthropology boring?
Hi, My name is Ernest Hemingway. You may have heard of me. I am the author of many great pieces of literature, including The Old Man and The Sea. I am 16, aiming to go to Oxford, and am travelling to Turkey in less than two weeks. I plan on buying 5 or so books for the two weeks i&m going away for, and have narrowed my list to seven. Although I&m very much open to suggestions! I recently have read To Kill A Mockingbird and Catcher in the Rye, and have been trying to transition in to better literature and classic books. Lolita1984The Bell JarOne Flew over the cuckoo&s nestNotes On A ScandalThe Great GatsbyI am definite on Lolita however, but what books would be the best to take with me, bearing in mind I would like to read books that will help me with my English course next year. Thankyou xWuthering Heights
Summer reading list, good literature?
Hey guyz, There is this girl from I know from my childhood [my elementary school] who used to have a thing for me at one stage in grade 7, and having not spoken for 5 years, I saw her working one time and we talked for a while and finally exchanged numbers. She has suggested on more than one occasion that we get together. Once was that time at the her work, the other was when i was at mine, and she asked me to text her when my college exams were over. I actually quite like this girl, given she has alot of interests similar to mine, particularly the arts, traveling the world and literature. So upon the facts would it appear that she is interested too? Thank you!
Does it look like shes interested?
I love Animals, literature, traveling, drawing, taoism, nature, and sculpting, among many other things. I just cant decide what would be right for me. To me, many different careers seem like they&d be right up my Alley... I&m really indecisive.
What career should I choose?
Hello, I&d like to count with you to help me to find a country where I can find opportunities that are compatible with my professional skills and affinities. I&m 15 years old, so, I must worry about my professional future. I am Brazilian and I speak English and Portuguese. I have an ease with languages and I appreciate Linguistical Sciences and Literature. I definetly enjoy reading and writing. I must say that I have artistic skills to write and to give my opinion about something. I can also listen to music in a creative way, but I did not develop this musical side of mine. Besides Languages and Literature, I appreciate History, Mythology and Human Geography. I have got a good historical and mithological knowledge. I am fascinated by the world, I&m always getting to know about a different country and it&s culture. I love to talk to foreigners and I&d like to travel a lot. I&ve been considering the idea of being a diplomat, but it would be tough. I&d hate to have a conventional career, except if it was provisory. I am not very fond of Exact Sciences, such as Maths, Physics and Chemistry. What do you think that I should do? When it comes to my first question, it is that want travel, live and study abroad, however, I don&t know where to go, I don&t know what country would match me or my affinities and professional affinities. For example, I don&t know if there is an academy of something in Spain, can you understand me? Thanks!
Where should I study/live?
My name is a James Coke, and I am seventeen. I was born in England; however I am currently studying in an English school in Madrid, Spain. I have travelled in many countries around the world every year as I enjoy it. I am interested in a lot of sport activities including soccer and basketball, and vividly interested in movies. However most importantly, I am interested in writing scripts for film. I have written several short screen plays as part of my hobbies. I have currently graduated high school and moving on to college this September in Spain, and because I am obsessed with writing screenplays, I am taking on English Literature as part of my subject choices. I received several awards on several subjects, this includes English Literature. Apart from school I stay at home all day as I do not have many friends around where I live, however, I still take time to do some running with my younger brother and driver.
Is this a good short biograpgy? Please give me feedbacks and help!!!?
