On the Texas border, the Zetas, the vicious former enforcers of the Gulf Cartel narcotics smuggling organization, have branched into the human smuggling trade. "As we&ve done more to secure our borders, alien smuggling organizations have increasingly become more bold, violent and dangerous," subcommittee chairman Henry Cuellar, D-Laredo, said Thursday. "Particularly troubling is the potential for these organizations to smuggle terrorists into our country." Signs of sophisticated, highly armed and well-financed smuggling operations and related kidnapping and extortion rings have emerged in all U. S.-Mexico border towns, as well as large cities like Houston and Phoenix. In Arizona, a pre-dawn battle between human smugglers and gangsters killed 21 people on July 1 in the Sonoran desert south of Nogales. In Houston, agents rescued 11 immigrants held at gunpoint in a house by one violent group of coyotes in 2009 and later dismantled a network of 14 illicit transportation companies used by smuggling rings. Inspiration from ArizonaThe GAO report suggests the U. S. government look to Arizona for inspiration on how to disrupt smugglers& financial networks. At the hearing, Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard described how he&s worked to cut off money to criminal groups, successfully targeting used car lots, money transfer agencies, travel agents, drop houses and other businesses linked to smuggling and money laundering. What do you think Lawmakers told border crime getting out of hand?
Let&s just pretend that we currently have the technology needed to dilate people through time. I don&t want to go over the many possible ways to achieve this, but one thing is for sure, and that&s it is possible to dilate forward in time, but it is impossible to go backwards in time. So here&s my idea:Imagine that either NASA or some other agency has just chosen and trained a group of six people, all of which are highly intellectual with PhDs. Their mission would be to dilate 200 years into the future and explore and adopt to their new world. Let&s pretend that their mission launched in the year of 2010, and so as they dilate forward in time to the year of 2210, their arrival is being expected by the scientists of that time (because for those 200 years, the data of that mission was active in the computers). And so, how would the scientists and historians of the year of 2210 benefit from the arrival of those people who dilated through time from the year of 2010? And what might be the expectations of those crew members? How long would it take them to adopt? And how would the world look like in the year of 2210? And in addition, I have calculated that in order for those crew members to dilate 200.8 years into the future, they would have to travel at 99.99% the speed for 2.84 years. Is this enough experience for a talent agency?
I&m currently in my 2nd yer of university. I&m studying film & television. An industry I used to be extremely passionate about, but during this course I have lost all desire to work in the TV or film industry. I am about to start my second semester, I nearly failed my last semester and this next one will be even harder. I don&t like my teachers and its hard to find motivation to get to class let alone completing the assignments. If I do stay, I will give it my best effort, but there is no guarantee I will pass this next semester which means I&ve wasted 2 years and built up a $27,000 debt. If I pass the year, then I get a degree and it is recognised that I have completed two years of university, which has substance on a CV. During the next semester, as part of a group assignment, we have to complete a 10 minute short film, I am working with 2 of my best uni friends in this assignment, so if I drop out I&d be screwing them over which I don&t want to do. But at the same time, I can&t take this course anymore, the stress I feel because of this course has resulted in 2 different conditions and my doctor says I need to end what ever is causing this stress because its not healthy for my body. I have just had 4 weeks holiday (between the two semesters) and during this time I was working almost everyday at my part-time job. I like earning money and saving up, I really want to travel around the world within the next 2-3 years. There is a job vacancy at a local travel agent as well that I would love to apply for, but if I stay at uni, I won&t have time for 2 jobs (I barely have time for one) and by the time I graduate, the position will probably have been filled. So, do I drop out and apply for the travel agency, working two jobs to get as many shifts as I can, saving up to one day travel around the world. Or do I push through the next 5 months, doing something I completely hate, in order to get a piece of paper - making the last two years of my education worth while? Thank you for reading all of this, all advice is appreciated! I really don&t know what to do, I&m not the type of person to give up when things get hard.. But at the same time, this seems almost pointless.

I had a travel insurance declined following a brain hemorrhage whilst on holiday there. we have appealed to the ombudsman who have just declined again. we do have a further appeal which we plan to pursue. However I would like to know where we stand should it fail. Can they take our home of us etc? We have been advised that the debt is now with a collection agency in Switzerland awaiting the outcome of the appeal.
