What&s the best last minute travel site?
He was the popular football player in high school (gemini) and i was this dorky, cute little girl (sagittarius). We were actually friends and treated me very nice compared to the other girls. Innocent flirting, always playful, had classes together, etc...I always thought he was soo cute but knew there was never a chance and i was just happy we were friends. Years later when facebook came out, we were in contact again, things were good, friendship still the same but never saw him or was in constant contact. Last year, he suggested we go to drinks and gave me his number ("hey, i can get you that drink anytime...") but i never called him bc I&m old fashioned and if he really wanted to casually (or not casually) go get a simple drink, he&d ask me direct or call me himself. He tried again and asked what i was doing one weekend but didn&t see his facebook msg til 2 wks later (got very busy and caught up w. finals). I texted him and wished him a "happy bday" months later blah blah blahit&s been almost a yr since that fiasco and i decided to msg him and see how he&s doing. he&s graduated now w. a full time job and schedule. He travels on call and is enjoying his life. I&m still cordial w. him but still friendly like old times. He said he lives a few miles down south of where he lives and asked me my plans. I told him was planning on moving out soon but my future is "up in the air" as I&ve tried everything... I left it w. "well get your booty up here, haven&t seen/talked to you in forever, i miss u!" (casually) and he responded w. more stories of his life, his future plans - his exact plan of when he&s wanting to move back near home but in his own place and asked when I was moving out. I replied back and remember saying something silly. The next day (at exactly 9pm) he texted me, "hey, how is everything" and asked if i was doing anything that night. I actually had plans and was going to workout and told him and he responded a few mins later saying he was goin out downtown to a bar/club (it would be halfway for us; he lives down south, i live up north) and i told him to have fun and said to have a good workout. It sounds like he was posisbly asking to hang out and I rejected him? but that&s not the case. I had plans and didn&t want to stop just to see him and he was soo last minute. I realized I was an idiot and that maybe he did want to hang out...so I texted him yesterday asking how that one weekend was. 2 hrs later he texted back it was good and ask how i&ve been. I responded and asked how he was....I was going to ask to hang out in the next message...but he never responded back. Now it&s making me think what if i was just a booty call? Or he doesn&t care to hang out that much...HELP!(And i&m not expecting any "romance", we&re definitely friends but he&s always gonna be that "cute guy" fr hs LOL)

How do you deal with a &cat-mouse& situation w. a gemini?
On all the last minute travel deals websites there are always really great deals for all inclusive 7 night trips, but the 3-5 night trips seem to cost more. I&d like to go away somewhere, but I don&t want to be away from my kids for too long.

Why is it cheaper to go away for 7 days instead of 3-5 days?
9 REASONS TO NOT JOIN THE NAVY. Let me start by saying that this is entirely my opinion and reflects what I think alone. Not everyone will agree with this, but that’s what the comments area is for. I’m not trying to lower the Navy’s manning as all that does is create more work for me. These are just some of the things that piss me off and I really wish were different. There are some things that make being in the Navy great. The friends you make and the camaraderie that can only be achieved by a collective hate for a boss. All the jokes and situations you end up in that are actually pretty funny. The drunken nights spent with friends when you say to each other “being in the Navy isn’t so bad.”Most of the time you won’t be doing your job. When you are thinking about joining the Navy, the recruiters will try as hard as they can to sell you on the job you’re looking for. They’ll show you a job sheet that describes all the important and interesting things you’ll be doing in the field. It almost seems to good to be true, because it is. Most of the day in the Navy is spent cleaning or running around and trying to find chiefs and officers to sign some bullshit paper. Sitting through a PowerPoint presentation on sexual harassment or alcohol abuse, or preparing for some upcoming inspection, which will last mere minutes and prove the man hours wasted on the preparation were unnecessary. You’ll have to work on some collateral duty, like Training Petty Officer, where you make sure everyone in your division reads a PowerPoint on recreational water safety, or some other bullshit, and then have to turn a report in on who attended the training and how it went. When it actually comes to doing your job, you’ll be so frustrated and exhausted from all the extra unrelated shit you’ve had to do throughout the day, that you’ll hate it and wish you just went to college and became an officer. The normal day to day is spent doing administrative crap like making lists, and reports, and training briefs. If you somehow avoid all of this, some civilian will already be doing your job for much more money and less bullshit than you have to deal with anyway. You don’t really travel the world. The easiest way to get some shmuck from Podunk, Idaho to join the Navy is to offer him the opportunity to travel the world and see things he can only read about in books. The truth is, while we visit some nice places sometimes, it’s usually not worth it. You’re usually in port for about 3 or 4 days, and will have to spend one of those days on the ship standing duty. When you do get to go out, you’ll always have to have a “liberty buddy” by your side, and have a curfew. Coming in after the curfew will result in you being restricted to the ship for the rest of the port visit, and a non-judicial punishment (NJP) a week or so later. There will usually be restrictions, like places being off-limits, not being able to do things like rent cars, jet-skiing, para-sailing, or other things you might want to do in an exotic port. The ports themselves are usually shitty. While a place might generally be considered exotic, you’ll pull into the shittiest part of it, and will immediately be surrounded by hookers, bars, and other unsavory offerings. Every port usually ends up with you in a drunken stupor wanting to go UA. (Our AWOL).You work for some real assholes. Obviously not everyone you work for will be an idiot, but a good chunk of them will, and they’ll usually be in pretty powerful positions. You figure that no matter what rank you are, as enlisted, you’ll be working for some kid who just got out of college and this is their first real job, making sure you do what you’re doing. Not to mention that unless these officers are prior enlisted, they’ll have no idea what your job entails. They’ll ask you a million questions and expect you to work miracles. The chiefs are not always better. While they have more credibility because they’ve been through it, they’re human too. When they have some punk kid who has been in the Navy less time than they’ve been out to sea, they get tired of hearing them bitch and complain about this or that needing to get done, thus “shit rolls downhill.” The chiefs used to be a force to be reckoned with, but nowadays, they’re like toothless wolves. All bark and snarl, but no bite. In the end, you can’t rationalize with these people, because they’ll either feed you some bullshit like “suck it up,” “we’re all sacrificing,” or just “I’m a Chief/Officer and I’m ordering you to do it!” Worst part about it, when they make stupid decisions they will never back down from it, no matter how irrational it is. It’s all politicsOne thing you’ll notice about your shipmates when you’ve been in for a while, is how they’re all just as miserable as you are. Those who aren’t miserable are the A-J squared away assholes. Everyone hates these people. Not out of jealousy, but because these people make it through life sucking dick and screwinSorry this is so long and a 2 parter, I tryed to just copy and paste the link but yahoo would not let me

How true is this Article? 9 REASONS NOT TO JOIN THE NAVY Part 1 of 2?
I&m looking for a 4 day cruise out of Miami on any of the cruise lines. I&m looking to pay less than $100 a day at the most(including tips, taxes and fees). I have the summers off so last minute deals are welcome. I can go anytime during the summer with about 2 weeks notice. Anyone know any good websites or travel agents that might be able to accomodate me? Also good websites for last minute flights would be helpful as well. Thanks!

Need help finding a cheap cruise to the Caribbean over the summer of 2010!?
Last week I was attending a wedding in San Diego and on the way home I sort of lost my way. I was exiting one freeway looking for a way to get on the 5N and noticed a stop sign at the last minute. i began to stop but realized there was a car following close behind me. The road ahead was clear so i made a judgment call and proceeded so not to cause an accident. i explained what happened to the officer and his advice was to write a letter to the court. I&m in the process of moving to California from New Jersey and don"t have the time or money to deal with this violation. How likely is it that the San Diego court will understand the circumstances and waive the fine? Will I have to travel to San Diego to take care of this matter should they not waive the fine?

Pulled over for failure to stop at a stop sign in San Diego?
Ok we&ve been going out for almost three years now. And we both deeply love each other. But we kind of have been fighting a lot lately. He is very possessive and in our relationship, am incredibly submissive (Thats what everyone tells me). But i like to be submissive and listen to him. The problem is, he&s been kind of distant lately. E.G when he makes plans, he cancels at the last minute, when am already there. Or, he is tired as he travels quite far to university and back home. He doesn&t inform me when he comes online (We used to chat everyday). Its only me who has to sign in everytime to see if he is online or not. And he ALWAYS says that i chat with people on my facebook late at night. Well i dnt, but i play farmville and treasure isle and such games. But he doesn&t trust me. Things have changed between us. What do i do to make it like it was before????He even once said to me that before our relationship was like a dream come true and now he feels as though its a battlefield. PLZ i badly need help!!!P. S I tried replying back and not being submissive, and that did not work. It just pissed him off more. And am kind of a person who keeps things at heart. Like when he always cancels at the last minute, i keep that at heart n be very moody when we chat or talk later.

How to deal with my guy?
I&m looking for a museum for a trip with our science club. It&s last minute, so I&d like a place easy to book in Alabama. It needs to be good for high school age students, not a cheesy kid&s museum. My teacher wanted something like the body museums that travel, but I&ve had some difficulty finding some, so any type of science museum would be good, but a biology or anatomy museum would be better. I&d also appreciate it if it was cheep or I can get a deal for a large group. I&d also like to add that the science group is not only one subject. We&re leaning more toward a Biology/Anatomy museum or a Natural Museum, or something that has a lot of things. It&s a high school group, and a large portion are upper classmen, so nothing like a children&s museum. My teacher really wanted to go to something along the lines of an anatomy museum. Anything that&s traveling through Alabama in the next three weeks would also be welcomed, it doesn&t have to be just a museum, it can be an exhibit housed somewhere else.

Where&s a good Science Museum in Alabama?
Hi, we want to go on the cheapest 7 or 8 day Alaska cruise in May or June 2010. We are both over 55. I found the cheapest cruise so far on Costco Travel so far - $510 for an inside room on Holland, looks like the rate is going higher as time goes by. Also American Express is offering low fares. What is the best travel website to get the best deals to Alaska? There are so many I get confused. Any travel agents out there that know how to get the best deal? What are the best day trips to take? We like hiking, history, etc. We will be traveling by train to Seattle. I am hoping for May 28-29 leave day. Can&t go last minute. Don&t mind an inside room. Thanks for any help

How can I get the cheapest rate on a cruise to Alaska?
I am planning on a august trip over to England. I have never gone international before so I don&t know what airline to pick, if there are any good discounts out there. If I should book now or wait for a last minute deal? Any advice would be useful. Thanks.

What airline is the most affordable to travel from Canada to the UK?
He worked hard, he got me...we&re together (since feb). I&ve been single most my life but have no problem committing if it&s someone I know who&s worth it. He&s a good guy who does care and respect me, i know it, God knows it. He just is such a guy sometimes. Aurgh! He has a clingy best friend who comes by every weekend (fri, sat, sunday) to hang out w. him and I understand friends are important and I dont& wanna get in the way but MAN, i&m not even clingy. My bf is easily influenced, wants to make everyone happy, can be a pushover sometimes, is soo last minute, wants to have his cake and eat it too, completely optimistic (and ways you shoudn&t be), says things in hopes of it happening but real life kicks in and at last minutes realizes he&s not superman...ARGH! Thing is, I can be like that too but at least i&m a bit mature about it. We were never the couple that was clingy, 24-7 infauted. We both had our schedules (he works full time M-F; i have y healthcare major) but we make time, even for a bit. Now he&s slacking off a bit. Consistent but distracted. I&m old fashioned and I dont& always want to be the one asking to hang out. I&ll text him now and then if i feel like i miss him or talk to him and I do ask to see him when i want to but not all the time. I know he has feelings/cares about me very much BUT he&s distracted LOL. I don&t expect him to give me attention everyday, 24-7 but I don&t know...and its not like i see him everyday or talk to him all day. For ex: he said to hang out saturday. I go to his place only to find him and his best friend playing video games, which is fine but he left me bored on the couch for about 20 minutes. I don&t like wasting my time, i didn&t want to make him chose between him and his friend, so I left. (I&ve also gotta deal w. his clingy best friend who travels 30 mins away to spend the weekend w him). I feel unhappy sometimes bc I feel like he doesn&t put as much effort as he used to. I told him and he worked on it but he&s slacking again...tryin to be superman. i don&t wanna play games but in the back of my mind i&ve got my grandma&s voice tellin me its okay to be a LITTLE bit bitchy and make him earn my attention again...
