I&ll be 24 this year and i&ve always been a simple, content single girl. I&ve only had 1 boyfriend and broke up w. one about 2 months ago and doing better. Right now, i&m focusing on me again and re-adjusting to being "single" again but as a completely different person. I noticed that I have changed from that short lived relationship and my close friends have even noticed. I&m more adventurous and no, it&s not the post breakup "guts" or rebellion everyone gets. It&s not so much that i&m wild and crazy but if it&s something fun, i&m up for it. I&ve always been the "good girl" type, mannered and a bit reserved...i have an outgoing personality but never wanted to come off as "too out there" but now...it&s different... for ex: i&ll spontaneously go to a concert w. my friends, sing and dance to the music w/o hestiation or cautious. I&m enjoying my family and close frinds (and their boyfriends, who have been so sweet and supportive). I&m just "adventurous" now...wanting to try new things or things I wouldn&t even think of doing...even having a "mid 20&s bucket list" kinda thing going on...Now, i&m trying completely focus on me....i&m aware that there will be guys along the way to distract me (that always happens! grr) and this time, I don&t want it to distract me one bit. I think about my interests and things that make me happy...but it seems so superficial. I love to take care of myself...this means spoling myself (which i pay for myself) w. pedicures, shopping, shoes, clothes...I love looking at clothes, organizing outfits/accessories in ny closet, being inspired by old fashioned magazines..I love working out because i like feeling and looking good..my interests just seems soo "shallow". I am (however) happy w. family, close friends, travel, karaoke/game night, rare nights out w. the girls (not all the time tho), the beach, sports games, scrapbooking (i love pictures and it reminds me of how grateful I am to have friends/family...and i like to be creative)...I feel as though my interests are kinda shallow...i&m trying to expand more...but what do you think? Sound good?

I&d really like to buy a motorcycle (sport only, not into any other kind) in a few years. I&m a female, 5&5", 115 lbs. I will be going to college in the UK and figured a motorcycle would be a lot nicer for travel, regarding the whole driving on the other side of the road issue... Anyway, I hardly know anything about this, as I can&t even drive a car yet. So any obscure help would be appreciated as well. I was considering a Kawasaki ninja 250r, I&ve heard those are good beginner bikes... and they look pretty great too :] Can anyone tell me how much that would cost? Also, approximately how much I&d be looking at per year... regarding gas, maintenance, accessories, insurance, etc. Also, how would the license issue work? Are car licenses and bike licenses completely different? Do I need one to get the other? Would I be able to use it in other countries without a problem? Thanks! I know it&s not the best idea in the UK... as it rains all the time... but I really love bikes, and they&re cheaper/more efficient. If I decided to get a car I&d have to wait until after undergrad. I don&t want to get a bike that&s less than 125cc, so I&m considering doing the CBT and training on a rental bike, then getting the 250cc. UK to New Zealand Power Adaptor - ok to buy cheap one?
So me and my family are travelling to India over the December 2010-Jan2011 holidays. To take photos of the trip, as well as photos back home, I was wondering which camera, as a first time DSLR user, I should buy. I was thinking of getting a Pentax K-X, but was also wondering which lens(es) I should buy? Also, what other accessories do I need (flash guns, mem cards, batteries etc)? My budget for everything is 1000AUD...

Beginner DSLR camera (for travel photography)?
My partner and I are expecting our first child in september and are lost in a world of confusion of which brands and styles are good. We looked at a silver cross 3D as it comes with a lot of accessories but not a car seat, Hauk comes with a car seat but not much in the way of accessories. How much is a good value type? The choice is completely down to my lady as she would be spending the most time using public transport so it needs to be very versatile while I can just put it in the boot of my car. Also should we just go for a car seat straight away that goes from birth or get one later on after they&ve grown out of the carrier? Has anyone been to the kiddiecare warehouse? we&re planning a trip so we can get some demonsatrations and stuff. many thanks.

I would like to get into photography as a profession, such as photo-journalism, travel-photography, stock-phtography, etc. Are there any sub-$1000 cameras that would be suitable for professionals? or would I have to spend A LOT more for a better camera? I am talking about the camera and basic lens(es) that would come with it..I would add accessories as I need them, so the $1000 would not include everything, just a good basic setup to start out.
