At the moment, its easy to see how some people would be worried about vacation costs this year. Travel is too expensive for many people.
Any suggestions on where to live?
First we wanted europe but now we decided that we want to go somewhere that is not Europebut we want to have a good weather and not that it rains for example the Caribbean, our travel agent said it can rain during august. So where can we go where there is beach, culture, good weather and where it is not boring? Thanks...
What are good vacation destinations in August ?
Wouldn&t he have travelled thousands of miles (approx 1,500miles) through un-inhabitable land from Hebron to Mecca? And at such an old age ?!!!1 Mile = 1.6 Kilometres. Now travelling an average distance of 2,400 kilometres (1,5000 x 1.6) for...1 - Escorting Hagar to the destination2 - Ishmael coming to & fro especially during Abraham&s death.3 - Ishmael&s marriage in Egypt. Can be summarised in two words - ABSURD & RIDICULOUS. PS. Is this the reason for the flying camel ???*** One is very tempted to believe that Abraham had nothing to do with Mecca. And muslims have nothing in common with the Jewish deity..Time to wake up from all the Islamic BS. FYI - The Bible says Ishmael lived in the nearby desolate desert - Paran. Which is clearly alot more palatable / credible. Now, whose calling who corrupted again ?
Can Abraham or Ishmael really travel to Mecca?
So I recently ordered online with Standard Shipping which said my package would come in 5-7 days, yet it hasn&t come on time. I&m leaving for vacation and would like to take the clothing I ordered with me, so is there a way to forward the package, once it arrives at the post office, to a post office in my vacation location? (Ordered from Hollister, went through FedEx and is now traveling with USPS).
Can I forward a delivered package to another destination once it arrives?
Starting from London (England) on the morning of Day One (or possibly the evening of Day Zero) and finishing up somewhere near Lubeck/Hamburg (Germany) on the evening of Day Five. My initial thoughts are that it might be fun to fly to Stockholm for a look around, and then make my way to Oslo, then Copenhagen, then on to Germany. Firstly, what do you think of those three cities as destinations? I&ve literally just picked them off Google maps as being big. Is there somewhere else I should go instead? If there is some other feature in one of these countries that is a destination in itself, I would be just as happy to visit that instead. Secondly, is this too much? Would I be able to do Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen, including travelling between them, in five days? I don&t want to see and do _everything_, just a day or two of wandering around and seeing the sights and soaking up the atmosphere. I&m not bothered about museums or art galleries as we&re a bit spoiled for that in London so it&s not a priority when I go somewhere else. If there was a nice day-trip out of town to see something special (interesting geography and similar) I&d want to do that, although if it&s just scenery then travelling from A to B by train might be just as good. Any suggestions for things that I must see while I&m there? Thirdly, I&d love some advice on travelling between these places once I get there. I&m not sure where to start and I don&t know what my options are. Is there a good (fun/interesting/straightforward) way to get from Stockhom to Oslo, or would I need to jump back on a plane? If I need to fly, I might skip Stockholm this time around as I would like to see a bit of the countryside as well as the cities and am more interested in e. g. ferries and trains for that reason. I don&t drive so a hire car is not an option. It seems you can get from Oslo to Copenhagen by overnight ferry which might be useful. What&s the best way to get from Copenhagen to Germany? Would I need to fly, or is there a train or ferry - where does it take you to? And finally, is there anything important that I should know before I take this idea any further? Like, say, if October&s a really stupid time to be doing this? Can I get by with only English? Am I going to starve to death because I don&t like raw fish? :)You don&t have to answer all of this, I know it&s really long, any help at all would be much appreciated. Thanks!
[Reposted due to glitch] Five days in Scandinavia in early October - where to go, what to do?
I am also thinking that maybe it would be better to go to Mysore first and then to Trichy? Any suggestions. My ultimate destination is the Shantivanam ashram just outside of Trichy. Thanks anybody. mark
Hi. I am travelling from Trivandrum in Kerala to Trichy in Tamil Nadu. What is the best way to get there?
I&m visiting San Diego, and have a final destination of Tulsa Oklahoma. I want to see the Grand Canyon too. I&m feeling quite overwhelmed trying to organise everything at home before I head over. What are my travel options for such a journey? I hear using greyhound buses allows you to see a lot more than flying, and that trains are expensive. I&d be willing to perhaps bus half way to Arizona & the canyon and fly the rest of the way to OK or something, I&m not sure. I just want the best option price wise as I am travelling on a tight budget!! Another thing I have to consider is possible accommodation on my journey. Once again, it&s all about finding the lowest costing way to do this possible. Any advice would be very much apprecitated.
Bus trip/plane from San Diego to Tulsa, via Grand Canyon?
Hey, Im traveling today with national express , and i have a coach card , but left it at my partners house , would it still be ok if he orders the ticket online with the coach card ID? Or will they not let me on the coach without the card itself?
I left my National express Coach card at another destination , can i still use it online to get the discount?
you can exchange paper money when you get back from your travel destinations but never do anything with the coins. Does anyone know charities or organizations that use them or another use let me know.
what can i do with foreign coins if i cannot use or exchange them?
I am 21 years old and I have held my full license for around 3 months now. I have always wanted to drive through Europe on a bike and I wanted to start planning this. After thinking through about what I want ive developed the following criteria -- I would like to travel for around a week although this could be shortened to less if the financial cost was significantly reduced - I own a Ducati 748 - definitely not a touring bike - and I would want to hire a bike that is more reliable and comfortable - I would be riding alone and setting out from London. I would like to take the Dover to Calais ferry to france and then head towards Italy with the south of the country being my ultimate destination. However I have not decided a route as of yet. - In terms of sleeping arrangements I would be happy taking a tent and just camping each night or visiting hotels on the way - does anyone have any advice about this?- I do not want to book with a motorcycle touring company as from what Ive seen these are very expensive and I am looking for minimal costs. Basically im a student who loves bikes and I just want to see as much as I can for minimal costs. If anyone has any advice, knows any good bike hire companies or can recommend a good bike, or indeed knows a good company that can help arrange such a trip I would be really gratefulThanks for taking the time to read this!
I want plan a motorcycle holiday through Europe, how do I start planning this? Advice needed!?
Like, in terms of clubs, things to do... gay beaches... etc...
